Random Dialog
Rhodey's first flight in the suit in my ficverse. Decided this takes place the same day as the meeting on the Valiant to greet the Toclafane in "The Sounds Of Drums" on Doctor Who.


Rhodey: “Whoa!”

Tony: “Need to use the arm stabilizers, Rhodey.”

Rhodey: “I know how to fly Tony.”

Tony: “You know how to fly a plane. If you haven’t noticed, that’s not a plane.”

Rhodey: “Thanks, I’ll keep that in mind. What the hell is that?”

Jarvis: “According to scan, it is a Toclafane.”

Tony: “A Tocla-what?”

Jarvis: “A Toclafane, sir. It also appears to be armed.”

Fury: “I need that scan.”

Tony: “Fury?”

Fury: “Yes?”

Tony: “Great. You hacked Jarvis when you broke into my house?”

Fury: “No, I just hacked the suit. Figured it would be a good idea to keep track of you just in case you crashed.”

Rhodey: “Ha.”

Fury: "We hacked your suit for the same reason, Colonel."

Tony: “Ha. Send him the information Jarvis.”

Fury: (to someone else)“Pass that on to the Secret Service." (to Tony) "Think you and War Machine can get a closer look?”

Tony: “War Machine?”

Fury: “Iron Man One and Iron Man Two was too confusing. Can you get a closer look?”

Tony: “We’ll see what we can do. So, what’s a Toclafane?”

Fury: “They're aliens.”

Tony: “Aliens.”

Rhodey: "The ones the Prime Minister talked about?”

Fury: "Yep."

Tony: “When was this?”

Rhodey: “You need to get out more Tony.”

Tony: “Yeah, apparently." (the Toclafane disappears) "Uh, okay, what just
happened?”

Jarvis: “I’m reading a temporal shift.”

Fury: “Well, that would explain the Doctor’s involvement.”

Tony: "Who?"

Fury: "Another alien. Time Lord. He's UNIT's scientific adviser-- whenever they can track him down. Right now he's top of our terrorist list along with a Time Agent from the 51st century and a medical student from New Jersey."

Tony: "Okay. I take it we just flew into the Twilight Zone here?"

Fury: "Close enough."

Tory: "You're enjoying this."

Fury: "Gotta entertain myself somehow."

Tony: "I'm beginning to regret signing that contract with you."

Fury: "Not my problem."
