Started roleplaying 'A Touch of Smith and Jones' versions of Jack, Ianto, Nick and Mala (Nick's secretary) because I was having a bit of trouble getting back into my writing after Christmas- and I've actually got some writing from it. These were inspired by a meta event (The Wedding of Tony Stark and Pepper Potts) by a great group of roleplayers that I watch. Since the event was in a different dimension- Jack used a device from the Torchwood Archives to get him and Ianto there. Unedited.

Finally got to see Sherlock Holmes- loved it! It strayed a bit from canon in places but was still a blast. And the plot bunnies quickly piled up-- it's going to take a while to calm them down enough to make any sense out of them XD!

I realized it was taking too long to get to Tony's reaction to the Board meeting and that Coulson isn't actually a viewpoint character, so this chapter has to go (Pepper's part will turn into a oneshot and the info in Coulson's section will show up later through Fury's POV.)

Just putting this here so I can find it later.
Rhodey sighed as Tony pulled at the collar of his dress uniform and muttered "How can you wear these monkeysuits?"
"It's not a monkey suit Tony," Rhodey said absently as he stared out at the audience. "And you look good in it."
The sudden silence and lack of movement told Rhodey that probably wasn't the best thing to say right then and there. He looked at Tony. Tony stared back thoughtfully.
"You think I look good in this?" he asked.
Rhdoey rolled his eyes. "Yes, Tony, I think you look good in it."
The thoughtful look turned inward, a corner of Tony's lip curling up in a smile. Before he could warn Tony that now was not the time to think about that, the master of ceremony called Tony's name and Rhodey had to discretely shove Tony towards the podium.
As Rhodey watched Tony walk across the floor of the UN, Fury stepped to his side and asked, "What did you say to get him to stop fidgeting?"
Rhodey shrugged his shoulders. "I told him he looked good in a uniform."
Fury shook his head. "Yeah, not gonna try that technique anytime soon."
Rhodey raised an eyebrow as he suppressed a smile. "I don't know. If you tell him that, it'll definitely stop him from fidgeting."
Fury gave him an annoyed look. "Don't think he needs any more encouragement."

The Remembrance Day programing on CBC got me again. Gave in and Captain American is now in the A Touch of Smith and Jones ficverse. Hasn't been check and it's not done (need to get back to the NaNo story) but since I'm posting everything I write this month, I'm posting this here! :)
